The meeting in Dreieich is over, thank you all for the wonderful time! Unfortunately, it was pretty cold in Germany again, but this didn’t stop us from visiting Biblis and Worms. The students and teachers attended many international workshops which concluded in a presentation of results and plans for the future projects.
Our next meeting is going to take place from 01.02. - 03.02. in Dreieich and is hosted by the Heinrich-Heine-Schule. There will be altogether fifteen schools involved and multiple workshops will be offered. One of the high points will be a visit to the famous old Roman town Worms.
We are looking forward to a great experience!
“The Great Egg Race” is a contest in which the students from our schools build vehicles which carry one fresh hen's egg of at least 55g as far as possible. In doing so only the energy conserved in one elastic strap can be used.
The race of the finalists takes place during the Comenius meeting at the Lycee de L’Europe in Dunkerque from 4th October – 8th October 2011.
The world record is 16 meters, can we break it?
Sadly, the meeting is over. Discovering the history of various technologies together was a great experience and great fun for all participants.
